Jack W. Sheehan

	Jack W. Sheehan, 53, of DuQuoin, passed away at 9:21 p.m. June 25, 2001 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
	Jack was employed at Consol Burning Star #4 as a tractor operator.  he was a member of the UMWA Local 1825, DuQuoin American Legion, DuQuoin VFW and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.
	 He was born August 25, 1947 at DuQuoin, the son of Robert and Eileen (McCrary) Sheehan.  He married Nancy Wilderman on January 2, 1997 at St. Louis, Mo. and she survives.
	He is survived by his wife of DuQuoin; two sons, John Sheehan and wife Jennifer of Herrin, Shane Wilderman of DuQuoin; one daughter, Missy Higgins and husband Shawn of DuQuoin; his mother, Eileen Sheehan of DuQuoin; two brothers, Robert Sheehan of DuQuoin and Charles Sheehan of DuQuoin; five grandchildren and his beloved dog; Elmo.
	He was preceded in death by his father.
	Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Bob Dickerson officiating.
	Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
	Interment was at the Sunset Memorial Park.
